Job Description

Sugar Creek Charter is currently seeking Middle School Intervention Lab Assistants, for the 2022-2023 school year.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Monitor students within a classroom lab setting as they use I-Ready, Zearn, IXL, or other assigned technology platforms for remediation or enrichment.
Track data to ensure that students are progressing towards meeting their goals
Conduct weekly data meetings with students to review progress
Maintain a timely and open system of communication with parents, math teachers, and ELA teachers to discuss student data
Inspire students to take ownership and accountability for their academic progress
Follow and implement the school wide behavior plan
Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students, parents, staff members, and other stakeholders
Teacher Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate's Degree
Minimum of 1 year of middle school experience
Effective Communication Skills
Reliable
Coachable
Excited about teaching and learning
